Earthquake Support Payment

A one-off payment of $10,000 to each person who was living in San Andreas when the earthquake struck. It is paid automatically. You do not need to apply.

Payments being made Payments started on 28 September 2026. Most people are paid within an hour.

Who gets the payment

Every person who was a resident of San Andreas before the earthquake struck on the evening of Friday 25 September 2026. Each resident is paid once.

A person gets the payment if:

  • they were recorded as a resident before the earthquake
  • their record is still open
  • they are not recorded as deceased

Who does not get it

  • people who arrived in San Andreas after the earthquake
  • people whose record is closed
  • people recorded as deceased

How much and how it is paid

$10,000, paid once, into the person's bank account. It appears on their statement as "State of San Andreas: Earthquake Support Payment" with a reference number that starts with SAG-ESP. They also get a notification on their phone.

You do not need to be in Los Santos or Paleto Bay when it is paid, and nobody needs to travel into the Evacuation Zone.

Nothing. You do not need to apply, register or visit an office.

If something is wrong

If you think a payment is missing or wrong, contact us and choose Earthquake Support Payment.

The State will never ask you for money or for your bank details to receive this payment.
