How the State works with these services
County and city services are run by their own agency heads. The State coordinates mutual aid through the Office of Emergency Services, pays for State-tasked work, and inspects services that receive State funding or take part in State mutual aid. See Emergency services oversight.
Membership figures are the number of active members on each service's roster today.
