Vacancy in the Office of Lieutenant Governor
The Office of Lieutenant Governor is vacant from 27 September 2026, on the succession of Lieutenant Governor Diane Carrow to the Office of Governor.
Under the Constitution the Governor nominates a successor, who must be confirmed by the Legislature. Any nomination will be published in the Gazette.
